In a previous post, I shared my frustration over getting “fired” from a church calling. I got over it, because I believe in the gospel and the people in church are, well, just not that perfect. But inevitably, it does hurt your feelings.

My hubby and I have been teaching the 10 year-olds in Primary. He does a great job and brings lots of props, because, he’s a man and they do things differently (swords and bow and arrows). He got a kind reprimand from the Primary President, not released, but told he could not use anything but the manual — and approved materials; one of the parents complained. “I’ve had some complaints.”

Last week he used a film snippet of  a documentary on the French Revolution, to show that the Book of Mormon stories of good and evil people happen in many periods of history. (The Primary Pres was sitting in our class for 15 mins. — so we knew something was up.) And yes, we have shown maybe three of the animated BoM films. Oh, and a short segment of a World War II documentary about the Jewish people.
