Little Red Riding Hood left Grandmas house.

I will miss her pattering around here making little messes. But it was time for them to get back home. They will be putting their house up for sale as well.

Yes, we are all going to live in a van down by the river.

I thought we would have ours up this week, and may still. But on Sunday the garage door broke. I left for church first, and when Gene came out to leave he found it kind of hanging there, all askew. He thought I had backed into it. Unfortunately it is now stuck in the open position, as he worked on it for 3 1/2 hours last night, taking out each section of the door, and then putting it back together. He had to go to Sacramento today.

I went out there early this morning and dumped a one gallon can of white paint on the floor, spilling all over, and then one of those bottles Ephraim had bought to put sand in fell to the ground and broke. So, I have cleaned that up, washed out the garage with a hose, soap and a broom, and plan on putting down a coat of the “wet-look” sealer to improve appearances.

We got a truck load of stuff out of there last week, as my man around here was feeling an itch to de trash the garage– and took to getting rid of stuff. I had to reclaim my stationary bike from the recycling bin. True I have not been using it recently, but it is a nice one, and who knows, I may get charged up to workout on it again. I just can’t get the dog to ride along with me.

He rented a trailer and put the four file cabinets in there and most of his papers that were covering the shelves in his office ( he loves to stack papers as a way to organize). Some of my books got packed in there, and the boxes of Christmas decorations too.

I can’t help but believe all these delays–family visiting, things breaking, etc., are for the good, for some unseen plan. Today I heard that home prices were going up.
