The new Hugh Nibley page is at the top of my blog on the tab. There are three categories: Hugh Nibley mp3, transcripts, video.

When I was in my early twenties, I was introduced to Hugh Nibley. I sat in on his Pearl of Great Price class at BYU.  He talked about the the Gods in the creation, and the brooding, or waiting that took place during that creative sequence. I went to his home one evening for a family night, and was pretty much nervous to say something stupid. His wife was there and his youngest daughter. It was a humble home, and I think it was green on the exterior.

Over the years I have saved all his recorded talks and lessons. When everything switched from audio cassettes to digital mp3, I was determined to transfer all this information over to my laptop. It became a Sunday activity and I learned how to transfer the tapes using an old Sony Walkman. Now I want to share them with others, and have uploaded them into my library which I will share with you. You can find them on the menu tab of this blog. I keep them on my old ipod next to my bed, and when I can’t sleep, it is sure to go on. I guess that’s why I am thankful for Hugh Nibley, because I continue to learn from him.
