I’ve been married for 34+years. This is no easy peasy accomplishment. I’m not a marriage counselor and I didn’t study anything more than Psychology 101 in college. (Well, there was one class in psycho-physiology, that’s another story.) But, I have plenty of experience. No smooth sailing here, but we have survived the storms and become better companions, better mates and dedicated to the magic of marriage.
Not to get too personal, because marriage is private and personal, but I thought I would share a positive thing that we have done to add some spice and keep things hot.
I’m in my 50’s and although I can say I weigh the same as the day I got married, I am aging. So, we share the younger years of looking young — through photos. Now, maybe some of you are still in your 20’s and still looking young and hot — my advice — take lots of photos.
My dad was a bit of a photo-buff and he shot a lot of good quality film of our family. He loved slides. I have gone back and found them and scanned them into digital photos — shots of me when I was 16, 17, 18 +. We had a beach house where we enjoyed our summers, so lucky for my hubby he has lots of me in my beach blanket bingo bikinis.
Men like variety, and they can have variety in the same woman (not just our moods, haha.) One way is to go back in time. I sent a whole bunch of new images to my hubby while he was traveling and he had fun cropping them and making his own slide-show. I really had to laugh that he spent so much time making a little collage! Men and the visual — they are so hard-wired.
So, if you can, give them those images of you. And if you still look young and hot, then get those photos for later, get some sexy pics just for the two of you. You’ll be glad.
There’s not many photos of my dear hubby; his family didn’t know about cameras — he spent his summers picking peaches or grapes. But we have found a few, even a few an old girlfriend had taken (of which I’m glad.)
Have fun with each other — it’s my understanding and belief that after you pass to the next world, the two of you will look like you did in your prime (minus any defects.) That’s something to look forward to. That’s the good news of this life of trial and trouble in mortality.

Try the photo programs that let you edit and enhance. I’ve used Picnik, it’s easy. I import the photo into Picassa and then into Picnik. Even your spouse can have fun with it.

In all fairness, I should show the aging process, so you can see we have to use our imagination and memory:
