Sometimes you just don’t know where to start when it comes to preparing for disasters. You have to buy things and the list can get long. And who likes to think about chaos taking over? But I know it happens and will happen.

It might be easier to start by buying a gallon of water each time you go to the grocery store — that will only cost you an extra dollar. That’s my goal, and I have two sitting on my shelf now. The 50 gallon blue barrels, that I bought years ago, are in my yard, filled with water. But the extra water I buy now is much more portable and share-able.
